Tags
Tags are labels you can apply to contacts to organize and categorize them. They’re useful for segmentation, filtering, and targeting specific groups in campaigns and workflows.
Creating Tags
Tags can be created in two places:
From Settings
- Go to Settings > Tags
- Click Create Tag
- Enter a tag name
- The tag is now available across your workspace
On the Fly
When editing a contact’s tags (on their profile or during import), you can type a new tag name to create it instantly.
Applying Tags
You can apply tags to contacts in several ways:
- Contact Profile — Open a contact and add tags in the Tags section
- Bulk Import — Assign tags to all imported contacts during CSV import
- Workflows — Use the Update Lead block to add tags automatically during a flow
- Customer Table — Select contacts and apply tags in bulk
Using Tags
Tags are useful for:
- Filtering the Customers table — Click Filter and select tags to narrow your list
- Building Segments — Create dynamic segments based on tag conditions
- Targeting Campaigns — Send broadcasts to contacts with specific tags
- Workflow Logic — Use tags in conditions to route flows differently
Tags are workspace-wide. Any tag you create is available to all team members and can be used across all features.
Managing Tags
